  The persons of the Trinity
  
  Is the Father God? The Father is God and the first Person of the Blessed Trinity. Source: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. (I Corinthians 1:3)
  
  Is the Son God? The Son is God and the second Person of the Blessed Trinity. Source: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1)
